Ample time is given to address more complex health conditions. The acupuncturist may work on a variety of areas of the body based on the goals of treatment. In addition to acupuncture, treatment may include other therapies such as cupping, gua sha, herbal ointments, moxa, energy or bodywork.

• Initial Acupuncture Treatment & New Patient Consultation:

  During your initial appointment your acupuncturist will take the time to go over your detailed health history and set treatment goals. Herbal remedies, dietary and lifestyle recommendations may also be discussed. The intake will include Traditional Chinese Medicine pulse, tongue diagnoses and or traditional abdominal diagnosis, a full acupuncture session with adjunct therapies as needed such as cupping, gua sha, moxa, herbal therapies, oils, energy or bodywork.

• Follow up Acupuncture:

  Treatments are designed with your continued care in mind. Sessions include health and treatment plan discussion, re-assessment and diagnosis as well as acupuncture treatment with adjunct therapies such as cupping, gua sha, moxa, herbal therapies, oils, energy or bodywork.

• Acupuncture with Massage Therapy:

  The session begins with a brief consultation and check in. We then move into a full acupuncture treatment and end with a 30 minute massage. Acupuncture and massage individually are excellent for the reduction of pain and muscle spasms as well as general wellness and supportive care. This combined treatment can enhance the effects and create powerful, lasting results.

• Herbal Medicine Consultation:

  Herbal medicine offers a safe and powerful way to reinforce and strengthen the effects of acupuncture. In a sense, you get to take your treatment home with you. Our herbal medicine consultations allow us to spend the necessary time to understand your health history and health patterns.
